I am a real fan of the Postgut. My drink is almost always in front of me at the table, the food is great and the staff is always friendly. The Postgut with its rustic ambience is a landmark of the city of Hohenstein-Ernstthal and should be visited by everyone who is in the area.

I made a reservation for 5 people on a Saturday 6pm. Orders for drinks and food went very quickly. Drinks were served quickly too. However, instead of a light wheat beer, I was mistakenly brought a dark beer. It was probably my mistake not to have given up on that ... We didn't see anything of the food. After almost 2 hours of waiting, we were also hungry. Only after inquiries were we told that it would take longer due to a booked company. It would be like this every Saturday ... The motto here is very clear, whoever brings in more money is given priority. We are actually not used to this behavior. Before that, we were always served quickly and in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, the rustic ambience here promises more.

Nice little guest house in the heart of Hohenstein. Home-style cuisine at moderate prices. Ample portion with fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared. Guest room with 75 and beer garden with 80 seats with great attention to detail. Staff is friendly. There is nothing wrong with it - we recommend it.

What a great place. Can I really only recommend, great food, excellent drinks, seasonal actions and a beautiful ambience. Really worth a visit

The food was very tasty, the soup was Turkish taste, I loved it, the fish also ate, there were ten numbers, one had no bones and it was like cotton. .
